Greetings. Just bought a 2021 Corolla SE. Traded in my 2014 corolla.

I searched the internet and cannot find an answer. I hope someone here can help. Does anyone know what the factory tint is on a 2021 Corolla?

Closest thing I can find is a reference to 95%. I know it is not zero because when I park it in the shade, you cannot see through it.

it must have some kind of tint on it even if minimal. But I cannot find anywhere how much this tint is.

Due to some eye issues I did not want to go darker than 35% aftermarket. But my dealer only carries 30%. trying to figure out how dark this will actually be. If there is 5% in the glass. And they tint at 30%, will it be 25% on average?

Before I spend $300 to get the windows tinted I would really like to know. Can't believe that there is no mention of this factory tint online.

To help out anyone else. I at least figured out the formula. (#x#)/100. So (95*30)/100 = 28.5.

Now just need to figure out how dark the car tint is when I bought it. It's not much but it's not clear.

Any help is appreciated. If I find out I'll share.

Go to a tinter and have them meter the windows first. Or buy a tint meter

Well. They did in fact have ceramic 35. So I went with that. Just got it back. It came out LIGHT. BUT I like it. Doesn't look as good as my last one. But night visibility will be better.
