Going to the dealer tomorrow!

I have to pick up my cargo mat that I ordered with the car. I'm going to get them to customize some of the features on the car. Does anyone have that list printed in the manual of the customizable features?

Don't worry about that! I just thought there would be a list or a link kicking around.. I was too lazy to get the manual out of the car!!! Thanks anyway!!
And it is posted in the Mods/ Maint section

The ones I have done.

Changed the Auto Headlight off default of 30 seconds to 0 seconds

Changed the key fob settings to open all doors with one press of the button.

You can try to get the passenger seatbelt reminder turned off but some dealers won't do it. There is no law requiring it.

Did you have to pay the dealer for changing these settings or is this something that is covered for free ?

My dealer did it for free.

Some dealers have charged for this.

It depends on how into Customer service your dealer is.

You might try going through your sales person and see if he can work the changes for free for you.

I agree with that. I went over to the dealer today and they re-attached the body panel strip below the doors for free. Not all service centers are alike, but there are good ones out there.

They did it all for free, I even got the cargo mat for free!

It doesn't fit the best but it was rolled up in the box so the next hot day it will flatten out. It covers everything though!!

Nice, a current thread about the customization features. A quirk that irritates me about the HL is that I cannot lock the doors if one is open. I have to wait until the last door is closed. Is it just mine or a base model characteristic? I looked over the customizable features and it doesn't look like it is addressed. Is that how it is supposed to be?
Release the third row seatbelts so that it will be flatter =)

I'll do that tomorrow! I'm noticing how dirty the black interior gets..

Looks like WeatherTech must be making the liners for Toyota.

The one for my 08 is two pieces and allows you to take out the big piece when the third row seat is up and use the small piece behind the third row seat.

Also in addition to releasing the seat belts as suggested, use the side clips to hold the belts against the side wall

There is also a second row seatbelt clip as well if you haven't found it yet

To be honnest, I've never had the 3rd row up, nor have I sat in the 3rd row. I don't need it and I've never had it so I forget about it!

My only point was the observation that Toyota seems to have changed suppliers for the rear liner. You could not get the WeatherTech style with a Toyota logo in 2008.

I like you have the third row seat down 99.9% of the time.

The only time I use the 3rd row is when I have 5 people in the car.
Trying to use the middle of the second row as a seat for any extended period of time is a pain. There is around 12 inches of room for the middle passenger. A child might fit but three adults in the second row is problematic .
