I was talking to the local auto place today and they told me it would be 179 a piece for ar victors in 17x8 is that a good deal?

Seems to be about the going rate these days. I got a quote for 185 around here, but that included mounting and installing on new bfg tires. You can find a set of 4 on ebay for about 675 or so, but then you gotta find someone to mount and balance them, and if you're going for new tires as well, you might have some success negotiating the "total package."

Sears has them for $599 for the 16x8's I did not happen to look at the 17's but they may be worth checking out. The Sears here also has the Lug Centric adaptor for when you get them balanced.

yesh, they come with lugs,center cap, and valvestems. the shop installed the valvestem sensors onto the victors.

The wheelsforless price is pretty good. $40 off for the set - maybe you could get your shop to match the wheelsforless price. I've been quoted locally as high as $220 / wheel for the Victors :disappoin
