I've been looking for some cleaner that I can spray on my tire and inner fenders that eats off the dirt/mud to where I can just spray it off with a water hose with a pretty "high" pressure handle squirter thing at the end.. lol., so I don't have to scrub it all.

Anyways I had some orange stuff and it seemed to work alright (got it at wal-mart), now I tried some purple power and mixed it about 50/50 in a squirt bottle and did all the tires and inner fenter welds and crap and it seemed to clean so so but made all the black a grey sort of color.. Seems like it really dried out the plastic and my tires.. I'm wondering if it's cause I mixed it or if the stuff I got just sucks balls.. I know at some car wash places they hve some commerical stuff.. Just wondering if anyone's found out some good stuff that leaves the black stuff looking decently black?

Almost any cleaner will work if you use a brush. Just spraying something doesn't really do the job. Just like how an automatic car wash doesn't do as good of a job as when you do a hand wash. You have to touch the surface to get it clean.

Hey bigbadyoda,

Pb is correct, but if you are looking to make things a little bit easier, try using a long arm fender brush. They are designed to fit well in-between the fender and tire, with enough extension for easy scrubbing!!!

Adam's does carry an All Purpose Cleaner that was formulated to be used on engines, wheels, tires, fender wells, and underbody as well.

Check out the link and let us know if you have any more questions!!

Thanks,
