I picked up a new 2017 Forester XT Touring. This forum has been a great resource and I will still be checking in from time to time. Thank you for the valuable information and help!

The car is only a couple of days old, but the mods have already started. Here are some photos of us starting my vinyl wrap color change.

Why the color change and are you installing it yourself? It seems it would be a very expensive thing to do, heck they want hundreds just to do a 3/4 hood as a paint protector...

Thanks! It's a very fun car, for sure. I was cross shopping a lot and this was the best bang for the buck for my wants.

I'm doing color change for the unique color and for added protection (I may add some clear bra over it on the front end). I'm helping with the install, but definitely not doing it on my own. My cousin owns a shop where they specialize in aftermarket automotive accessories. I'll be sure to come back with updated photos!

So I hope you are getting things at close to cost. Heck no one in my small town could even replace the hood wrap I had on our Altima after the hood was replaced. I haven't got it done and probably won't now.

Yes, it's at cost and the work is being done for practically nothing.

Thanks! My little brother may purchase it from me, if not, a dealer has offered to give me 20k for it. It's a '13 limited AWD v6 with tow prep and 46k miles. I end up with 11k in my pocket after payoff.
