I got a 4efte complete with trans and everything, and I have a few questions. I am going to put it in a 94 Paseo will the axles fit? is the timing belt the same? I just replaced the belt and the tensioners or should I get a stronger belt? Are there any info on getting more power out of it? I am going to get rid of the air to air intercooler and run a water to air intercooler. Any other info about what to watch out for would be great.

Thanks Dana

Yes axles fit if not lsd. No timing belt does not, welcome to JDM101. Lots of info and help on board.tercelonline.com about those swaps. Be prepared as it's a lot faster than you expect. You will need a boost gauge and a good tach.

I was able to look over the engine Will the power steering pump and ac compressor swap over, and do I have to make up a harness using a mix of the harness that came with the engine and the one in the car?

Thanks Dana

Thanks For the info Trecel GTS, I looked at the wiring guide you posted on DIY some of the wires on my harness is diffrent colours. I guess I can cut open the harness I have in the car and take out the things like the wiper and other wires that have nothing with the engine managment and re-route them with the harness thatcame with the engine. Do you know how I can tell what year the engine is and should I get a shop manual for a Starlet of the year the engine came out of so I can figure out the wires and the vacuum hoses?

Thanks Dana
