Hi, newbie here. I have a 2005 Sienna XLE AWD. Over the last week or so our GPS signal has been mostly absent, with occasional spurts of signal. I know this because it has been leading the Sienna way off track and there is no "GPS" under the compass in the upper left. I have a Toyota extended warranty, but the dealer over the phone said that they would charge me $100 to diagnose the problem unless they find some defect. I'm wondering, before I spend $100, is there something simple I could be missing here? We had all 4 tires replaced just before the problem occurred, although I'm not sure what that would have to do with the reception. We have nothing being carried on the roof, nothing new sitting on the dashboard.
Incidentally, my Lexus IS's GPS signal is just fine, so I don't think it's related to the area.
I'm wondering if there are any other steps or diagnostic things I should do to rule out anything simple. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
