Ouch! Looks like the engine , wheels and some other things mights be salvaged. How the hell does this happen? Some people just don't know their abilities and limits.

I got the call I'd been hoping for last week and I got my GR Corolla. It's a loaded Core with all 3 packages and I bought it for MSRP from Vancouver Toyota in Vancouver, WA USA. This will be a fun addition to my other Corollas, a 2009 10th Gen Corolla S Turbo 5MT and a 2017 11th Gen Corolla iM 6MT.

Was black your preferred color? Most buyers are buying whatever their dealer is getting. Of course most of them have had to pay markup too. Seems that all of the Core models coming into the States have the Tech and Performance Packs.

Before I saw them in person my color choice in order was white, red, then black. I was going to be happy though with any color as long as it had the performance package. After seeing all the colors in person in the last week I actually prefer the black, funny how things can work out. After seeing them all my preference would be black, red, and then white!

Someone Wrecked a New Toyota GR Corolla Already. Who Wants the Parts?
This wrecked 2023 Toyota GR Corolla is probably going to fetch a pretty penny for its prized turbo engine alone.

It could be pink too and you'd still be a happy camper, especially if you didn't have to shell out an additional $10K for a greedy dealership. I'd prefer white as well, never had a black car and usually avoid that color just because they're a pain to keep clean. But for a GR Corolla, brown would be cool.

Congrats on getting it home. It looks fantastic. I am looking at the same color and same spec when I am able to finally pull the trigger on it but until then I'll enjoy pics of other peoples like yours

Thanks. I just had the windows tinted and I'm waiting on the PPF to be finished. 3M hasn't updated the software for the front bumper and fenders on the GRC yet. My guy was able to do some of it but I'm going they get the update tomorrow so they can finish it.Congrats on getting it home. It looks fantastic. I am looking at the same color and same spec when I am able to finally pull the trigger on it but until then I'll enjoy pics of other peoples like yours

It's actually the front LSD which overheats, expecially when excessively pushing while turning, slipping, spinning, stressing and overheating front tires.

This was solved by GR Yaris owners years ago. The easiest fix is to wrap the exhaust pipe where it bends around the rear diff. You can also get a different diff cover that holds more oil too which will help. This isn't that big of a deal.
