Gray wheel thread

What options are there out there for gray wheels? I'd rather not powder coat, black is nice but I think gray better compliments my Indigo Ink Pearl DC and, well, polished/chrome is everywhere. I've seen the Volk Racing 6-spoke....sweet, but I'd be half way to a supercharger by the time I dropped the coin for them. If you have some pics, photoshopped wheels or links, post away.

This is mine with American Racing Mojave Teflons:

They are not gray, but not black either. I kinda like them, they are easy as hell to keep clean to which I love.

interesting idea.....
the TRD FJ Antricite wheels are a dark grey

Not gray, but its a really cool wheel.

Just put a set of these on my Tacoma - they are anthracite gray TRD FJ wheels. Looks like I'll have a set to sell with some minor damage along the lip due to the install:

Waizone: Where did you manage to find a set of those?

Jgang: I think the FJ SE Anthracites look great on our Indigos if you find a set. Of course, I'm biased...

Very nice, did you paint them with the tires on? any advice on painting them?

they were painted with tires on. just covered the tire with paper and tape. for prep, just scuff the existing paint with high grit sandpaper or similar. i used 3 light coats and no clear as i was looking for a more mat finish. still looks good after a year and a bad winter

That's exactly the color match I had envisioned. I like that TRD wheel. What I'd really like to have is a set of MT Classic IIs or KMC Revolvers with that exact same color.

Where did you find your wheels and what did they run you?

I got these from my local dealer (Tony Divino in Riverside, UT), but that was back in the spring of 2008. PN: PT904-35071. They listed for $150ea, but I got them down to around $125. These wheels have a history of being hard to find. The problem is they were only put on the 2007 FJ Special Edition model and only 3,200 FJ SEs were manufactured. In 2008 Toyota put the same wheel on the FJ SE but in the matte black finish. So, there was never a great supply of these things. I've heard that they are extremely hard to find a set of these now unless you want to pay a premium. That is why I was curious where WAIZONE picked his up (and if he paid a premium or closer to MSRP)??? Nevertheless, I think I have a great set of wheels for $500 new.

Here are pics with the wheels on my truck. These wheels, along with the black TRD are very hard to find and selling for a premium. I got lucky and found a dealer with 2 sets left
