what's the difference between Gross & Curb weight.
I guess Gross weight means the total weight of the vehicle.(with all the fluids, oil,
gas, etc...) But what does Curb weight means? (without the all the fluids?)
But how can there be a 1000lbs difference?

Gross weight is the weight of the vehicle fully loaded with everything (fluids, passengers, cargo, etc).

Curb (or kerb) weight is the empty weight without any of the fluids, passengers, cargo, etc.

A human being on average is roughly 150lbs. Multiply that by 5 and you get 750lbs. Cargo can easily be 100lbs or more. Fuel for the Corolla is around 45L full tank. Consider too the oil, coolant and other fluids, filters and such in the engine compartment.
