hi,

If I go junkyard to look remove Power Steering Assembly, what year should I remove the part Power Steering Assembly from?? What do I look if I am at the Junkyard? Do I just make sure the same type of engine and the year,too?

what years can I remove the PS assembly if I am at junkyard?

my car is
96 Toyota Camry Le
4cylinder 5sfe

For mechanical stuff, normally you're OK as long as you keep within the same generation (in your case, Gen3 -- 1992-1996). For PS, there's a number of diffs between the 6-banger and 4-banger, so stick with the 4-banger models. YMMV.

What parts are you getting? Pump? Steering column? Gear Housing?

I want to get Power Steering Gear Assembly from junkyard. So, if I get PS Gear assembly from 92-96. It will fit for my model 96 4 cylinder 5sfe Toyota Camry? Does it matter if I get from 6 cylinder or 4 cylinder?
