what it is is city parking. People ding the hell out of your bumpers parking. My Accord was mint for 4 years 6 months of parking on the street and it looks like ishh. People will think twice about tapping you if you have that on your rig.

Can't help you on the bar but no kidding about the driving in the DR. Went there on vacation, they said we needed to take out 3 forms of insurance because the driving is so crazy compared to the states. The shoulder isn't for breaking down, its for passing bumper to bumper traffic! A taxi ride is like an edited car chase from a movie. Fun as hell, creepy if you aren't the one driving.

Yeah home of the go into the oposite lane to cut the dude in front of you off if he's going slow. Light turns red gun it before those a$$holes get a chance to go, drinking and driving is ok as long as you have yourseatbelt on, Beware of the 50million mopeds zigging and zagging out of traffic (hence the intimidating bullbar's) After dark on curvy roads you better gun it so you dont get robbed, yup good ole DR I wish I would hit the lotto so me and my taco could live happily ever after. P.S. and 50 pct of cars, 80pct of V6 vehicles and 99.99pct of taxis down there are converterd to natural gas

I've only seen it in chrome and some are black/chrome, I'm from Santiago in D.R. People love Montero's in D.R. becauce they are cheap and rugged. They drive like crap though, CRV's are very common down there economical and semi rugged and bullet proof.
