Im looking for more bottom end! I heard that a header would help. I know that a 4:1 is a top end header and a 4:2:1 is mainly for bottom end. would this make much of a difference for my bottom end. And if i decide to go with this, will it take away from top end, help with top end or make no difference at top end at all. i just want something cheap. even a little more power is better!

Reducing exhaust pipe size to increase back pressure will improve lowend.
4-1 is tune for gain at 1 RPM, usually high.
4-2-1 is tune for 2 RPM and cover full RPM range when design right.

so go for the 4-2-1? im lookin at a DCS 4-2-1 right now. will it be better? i guess what im sayin is what would you choose to do?

what gen header are you looking for?? i dont think there is a legal street header for the 5 gen...could be wrong though i havent searched for it in a while.

its a 2000 so a 7th generation...i dont have the money for a turbo kit at the time...imma go for tubo later on, but i just want bottom end...or at least as much as i can get for just a few hundred $
