headlamp

Just bought 2006 TRD, 6spd. I love this truck. However, I have some questions.
1. the led is out in 1 of the assemblies. Is there someone who sells the LEDs, I will disassemble and replace. The headlamp check light is on and will not pass inspection. The LED seems to be for aesthetics, but they wont give sticker till fixed.
2. Where can I get the diag cable? Is it a standard CAN2? I have had no luck finding a service manual. Is dealer only place to buy?

Thanks

You must have after market "halo" lights because the LEDs you speak of aren't standard nor they an option on any Taco. Post some pics of what you're referring to maybe?
Thanks human. It is, I did not know that type of equipment existed. Is there a way to swap out the led? I went to http://www.octanemotorsports.com/To...Halo-Headlights-Chrome-CCFL/product_info.html, thats the headlamp.
dont want to be the person to bring bad news. But I am pretty sure that you will have to contact the company that makes them and see if you can get a replacement LED. I am surprised the LED is out already. They are suppose to have a longer life span than that. Let me know how it works out.
As for the diagnostic port, it's a standard OBDII connector. Your scan tool must support CAN protocol to work.

Toyota posts the service manual, TSB's, and other info online at a subscription-based Web site called Toyota Tech Info System (TIS). (http://techinfo.toyota.com) The dealer can sell you paper manuals, but Toyota does not sell CD's or any other electronic media. When you see CD's on sale on eBay, they're bootleg copies of the info on TIS.
