Hey Gang,

Quick question..
My high beams don't come on, the blue light on the dash comes on and my markers stay on.. but no headlights..
pull the stem back to flash the highs come on...
So that tells me it's not a ground or power issue, that seems to only leave the high/low switch... but before pulling the steering wheel and such, I thought I'd ask if any of you had seen such and it not be the switch.
TIA.

Pete

Mine does that, only sometimes. When you push it back and it finally works, it works fine after that, you can pull it back and push it forward again as much as you want and they work just fine. kinda weird.

Mine is the exact opposite.. Since I started to restore the truck, my brights have only came on 3 times and each of those times when you pull it back to dims its done. I have several hundred attempts since the 3 with no luck and that's with lots of cleaner sprayed in there. lol.

You can do a temp. fix by pulling the switch apart & stretch the spring. Most of the time this will fix this problem, (for a while). I have did this to a few trucks, & it will work for a while. When this doesnt work, you have to replace the switch. They cost around 100 bucks from the dealer.
