Hello!

I'm running a 2004 Matrix XRS. It's over 150k miles, so I'm at that point (probably should have reached it sooner) where I'm starting to feel the need to do some work on it. And if possible, without paying a mechanic to buy expensive parts and charge expensive labor. The hard part... I'm not a gear head and live in an apartment building, so what I can do is definitely limited. But hoping to get done what I can get done myself safely. I'm hoping to find a lot of helpful info here. And hope I will be able to contribute ANYTHING.

Thanks! Nice to meet you all!

Welcome. I would suggest trying to find a handy guy to help. If you have a car port and the management aren't horrible you can get a lot done. Lots of folks here on TN, you might even find someone close enough to come help :)

Thanks for the welcome! :)

A friend of mine is actually willing to let me bring my car over to his place that has more than enough space if I need to do some work. Turns out he used to wrench on cars himself some years back and will even let me borrow his tools!

I can tell that this forum is already going to be a some big help! The project I'm working on is my suspension. Hope it goes well.
