Years ago I bought a 1997 RAV4 with 127,000 miles. It ran all the way to 283,000 with minor repair before giving out last fall. It was the vehicle that 3 of our kids learned to drive in and got us through many winters in the NE Ohio snowbelt. A few weeks ago I bought a 1999 RAV4 with 85,000 miles. Great vehicle, but the security system is driving me nuts! I'll start a separate thread about it after searching the forum.
