I have 1993 camry v6 XLE..I didn't notice before till the warm weather here on the east coast..My camry vents always produce heat..I turn the heat controls off, dial on cool, recirculated air or outside ait,still hot air..turn AC on , dials on cold,,hot air..no matter what combination I use It always blows hot air even when the blower fans are off I can still feel hot air..Does anyone have answer..thanks in advance..

Sounds like the cable that adjusts the heater bypass has broken.

i concur about the cable... but it probably just popped off... check the cable that should be attached to a black plastic box with a linkage arm on the heater hose going into the cabin. its on the firewall about a foot and a half in from the drivers side engine bay wall and maybe 1 foot down.

I added some high temp lubricant to where the cable hooks up to the box to lubricate it since it may not have been closing all the way. So far its working great..thanks everyone for all your help.
