Did Toyota offer aftermarket Enkei wheels on a 2007 Tundra TRD right from the factory? There is a guy that wants to sell me a set and he said they are right from toyota. I cant find the style on any Enkei website but they have Enkei center caps.

I like the wheels, but I want to make sure they fit my 2008 4x4... would there be any reason because of brakes, back spacing, wheel wells, etc...why they WOULD NOT fit.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Frank

I think I found the answer to my own question today... While watching the NASCAR Race a Chevy comerical came on showing a Silverado and Howie Long was talking about the great gas mileage Chevy's get and next to the Silverado in the garage was a White tundra with the Enkei wheels I asked about above. So I suspect they are aftermarket sold thru Toyota... I highly doubt Chevy would have bought these particular wheels special for the comercial...

When I get them on my truck Ill post a pic.

Sorry, Frank, I didn't see this post earlier on.

Enkei is an aftermarket wheels company, and here's their North American webpage http://www.enkei.com/enkei.html

Maybe Enkei has worked up a deal with Toyota to sell aftermarket wheels through the official Toyota dealerships, but I think various other aftermarket wheels companies do the same thing with various manufacturers.

In terms of fitment, maybe it'd be best to compare the measurements on those Enkei wheels to a set of OEM wheels on a Tundra. Unless there're other owners here who could chime in for that matter. Good luck and let us know how it goes

Enkei is an independent company.. but does work with other manufactures to make special wheels for certain companies.

the tC can have option enkei 18 inch wheels which was release only for toyota/scion

make sure they are wheels thru toyota and not some aftermarket stuff that every dealership has and sells to make more money
