my driver side brake light does not work when I hit the brakes. all my tail lights work when i turn the lights on, just one of them turns off when i hit the brakes. Ive tried replacing all the tail lights even the ones on the trunk. it worked for about 5 mins then the same light stopped working. Ive replaced it 3 times any suggestions?

Clean the contacts in the light assembly .....odds are it's flakey grounding.

and look at them closely. I've seen a lot of them melted. look for deep divots in the socket contacts, and any burning or melting is bad.
