I just bought a 1984 Toyota Tercel. It is in good condition with decent mileage. The only thing wrong with it is that it's front right CV joint is going to need replacement soon. I am confident that i will be able to replace it with the help of my mechanic friend, but what i was wondering is if there are any other tercel owners that maybe have at one point in time replaced their own CV joint? I was just curious if anyone ran into any unforseen issues with the installation. I was also wondering if it would be more economical in the long run to replace the whole axle assembly as opposed to just the joint? any input would be great! Thanks for the help!!
