I have an issue with some warning lights that just came on that I hope someone can help me with. Truck is a 2009 double cab manual TRD 4x4.

* check engine light came on after I installed a Volant cold air intake - followed instructions to the word, however wondering if oil from freshly oiled filter may have gotten on MAF, if so is it possible to clean? Other potential causes?

* traction control light came on after swapping out tranny oil with Royal Purple 75w90 synthetic. Not sure why that would happen - same oil as recommended, pretty sure it was full. Any thoughts?

Thanks for any help.

Since it's an 09. Put the stock intake and filter back on and take it to the dealer. Hopefully they replace the MAF under warranty if that is in fact the issue. Can't help you on the tranny.

the VSC and the Check Engine light come on together or should I say, the VSC light comes on when the Check Engine light comes on.... as far as why this is happening, check to make sure all vacuum lines were re-installed, try some of the MAF cleaner and check all the clamps etc....
