miss when cold is what he's describing
could be a temp sensor, though usually they fail the other way round (runs well cold, poor when hot)
could be a vacuum leak that goes away when things expand/get flexible from heat and seal
First thing to check: is the check engine light on. whether it's on or off, check the codes. if you don't know how, get a bit of wire and short terminals T1 to Te1 in the diagnostic connector under the hood near the fuse box. then go in the truck and count the flashes of the check engine light. it'll flash a few times, pause, flash a few times, long pause. it's counting out the digits of a 2 digit number (IE 11-99) write them down and post them up. it'll repeat itself and you'll figure out the pattern.
