You got to hook the remote wire from the HU. The remote is what allows the amp to turn on. The remote is like an on and off switch.
there is always a remote wire. just tap into the wire from the acc. meaning ...there is only power going through that line when the ignition is on. all factory headunits have that....thats how the radios and cd players turn off when you turn the key to your car off and not keep running[SMAN] said:If you don't have a remote wire from your headunit, you can create a wire running from a +12V source (like the +12V power wire for the amp) into a switch and then back into the remote "teminal" on the amp.
