quite a few people have done diy articles about this topic. if you do a search you should fine exactly what you are looking for. if you run into any specific problems, post back and i can help ya since i did this to my gen 4 a little while back.

It takes about an hour or two to do it cleanly and correctly. It really isn't hard work, you just have to be patient to avoid breaking anything...you gauge needles in particular.

from what i have heard...with some of the gauges they sell you dont even have to remove your gauge needles so hopefully thats what you go
