If you are sure all the screws are out, there are probably some clips that hold it together. Carefully pry this open!

i have a 85 AE86 corolla sr5 and wanted to know how do u take off the black crap off thats above my stearing wheel. the black thing that is on your dash whatever the hell its called how to u get it off i took out the 3 screws under it and then 3 or 4 under the stearing wheel but do u have to pull it off of the dash or did i miss some screws???

no i had to take out the light switch and wiper switch off and then their was 2 plastic bolts then it poped right off but thanks
