Before I get flamed, I just wanted to know what's the best brand the Camry owners have had luck with for the "HID-like" look without buying the conversion kit, just the "ricey" bulbs.

Anyways, I wanted to get some but was really apprenhensive when I saw this Acura Legend (94-95) with the "HID-like" dealio. Anyways, they looked nice from afar. As he came closer, something was off.. I looked at the ground and two blue circles lit the street. Mind you, this circle was probably 18 inches in front of him, about the circumfrence of a.... prolly.... a dinner plate.

Long, LONG, story short: What brand looks the best and performs closest to the real (expensive) thing?

4 silverstars is gonna be like 80 bucks. If you can afford to do all 4 go for it. If not just do the low beams. Autozone carries the silverstars for 20 bucks each.

Looks like you can get them on ebay for 10-15 bucks. Just make sure you get the right ones.

Yup, that's what I did when I first got the car (first mod, in fact).

Very worthwhile. It's funny when people get into my car, they turn on the parking lights and think the lows are on. :

Real HIDs.. lol.. Yup.. Meanwhile, why don't they make Altezza taillights for my Gen3 Cam? That's soooo annoying! Rice rockets get them but not me? I wanted to go for a subtle sophisticated look and thought a carbon-fiber-ish look would hit the rear just right...

Anyways, what lights can I use for my back-up/reverse lights? I wanted these bright blue lights to go there and I talked with a cop friend of mine, he said we don't have light laws that serious so I should be good. Any recommended brand, TRDCamry2003?

Altezza's :thumbdown Get the black centerpiece for your cam and either red out the tails or get the red/clear tails on ebay. I'd just stick to reg white bulbs for the reverse maybe white led's.

Black centerpiece? Where at? The reason I'm in love with the blue lights (don't laugh now) is on Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero (yes, a measly video game) they had this sweet bimmer with a bright blue pair of reverse lights. But, yeah, whiteLED could also do good back there. Well, meanwhile, I've seen the clear tails and red/white tails. I would try the clears but they don't look all that nice. The red and clears look better... but yeah. I dunno.. I'm open to suggestions.

HOPEFULLY I'll get an APC bodykit with a fart can and spoier in bright yellow. HAHAHHAH Nah..

I haven't had any issues, I intend to do my hypergrounds soon though just to ensure that there's adequate voltage.

your ground wires, your negative battery post and most people opt to add a distribution block. do a search on it, the info's there and so are the pictures.

Yeah, they do look nice. I installed it on my SISters HONDA accord (2001) and she followed me on the highway, they look real nice and so much better, but after a while, like 20 minutes, I look back and they don't look as "white" as before. Hmm, i dunno.

But my sister says it looks so bright at night and freakin so much better than stock. My after-market bulbs bought on Ebay.( Fake, cheap shit) They look WHITE, like HID, but they light output is pretty poor...

Ever since I got my HID's... some dumb ppl turn on their high beam when they are coming toward me because they think I got my high beam on.

After they do that, I then turn my high beam on and show them whats high and whats low. Some of the ppl just think that all white lights are from highly modified cars and designed to blind ppl.
