HID Lighting 95

My left headlights went out today on my corolla, I bought a new bulb, tried to plug it in place, and I realized that something had broke my unit that I plug the bulb into (the part that holds it into place is broken so it won't make a connection and hold). I was looking on ebay, and I was wondering, if I bought an HID kit for low beams, how would I install it, and would it give me a new plug for my bulbs? Finally... is this a decent one? I'm very tight on budget because I'm in the process of moving out of my house so let me know!
