My wife has a 2008 Highlander and last night the high beam switch stopped working. The momentary on still works, as do the turn signals, but the high beams can no longer be activated full time. Is this a user serviceable part? Dealer service in my area are miserable to deal with.

Thank you.

It's not too hard to switch out. I switched mine because I wanted fog lights...which if you do not have fogs and you have to swap out the turn signal stalk anyway...now would be an awesome time to add them...it would only cost about$50 more!!!

Here's a thread I did on installing factory fogs, it will show you how to swap that turn signal stalk.
