Hit and run accident

Well i got my car hit at the parking lot. Bumper is caved in on the right side, no visible damage to the body, who knows what was done to bumper support.
Question: is there is a deductible for parking lot accidents?
Or maybe i should start looking for a bumper to fix on my own.

Here is a pic of the damage

look like rearbumper cover needs replacement. i'd just hit up junk yards! i can't tell of the reinforcement without removing the bumper..(and no one else can either). For a small thing like this..do it yourself, avoid the ins agency!
If there's a video camera for the lot then have them check the video and get the plates off the hit and run. Call cops and have them view video.
wether you pay a deductible or not is up to the insurance company. SOme will charge and some will not. You would jsut have to call them, if they dont charge a deductibel you want to make sure it is not going to cause your rates to increase because of the claim.
^^ Nope no surveilance, it was like an abandoned parking lot, they don't even have parking rules there, so i parked my car there overnight while i was at my friends place.

The reason i want to go through insurance, because i have to sell it asap :( Starting college on january 9th and i just can't afford to drive for now. And i will take it off insurance anyway.
bad luck...

and chances are that if you claim, then there will be a deductible, and chances are that your rates will still go up- to them, a claim is a claim unless it's 100% not your fault, which usually means another insurance company pays for it and then you're okay

so long story short, unless the damage is far beyond what your deductible is, you may as well get it fixed yourseld
^^^ Hey u know any other junkers around GTA beside Standard auto Wreckers???
Go farther East towards of oshawa a bit (Bowmanville).

Look up the yellow pages.
if it has no rips in the cover take a heat gun and mold it back into shape, you will have to take it off the car and then have it repainted. The absorber behind the bumper is probably not cracked the Camrys have a void area on the rear cover by the corners that there is no absorber thats why they cave in so easy. Its a pretty common to see Camrys like that.

damn, sorry man. its pretty bad when people can't drive in a parking lot.
I feel sad for you, anyway, try to use heat gun or hair dryer like the last post said. My friend did the same thing and his bummper came back to shape.
