This past weekend, a few buddies and i hit up Holy Jim's Trail. We had a blast just rompin the hell out of our truck and driving through the huge puddles. I especially felt cool since my little beast kept up with both of my friends truck as well as all of the other trucks on the trail. I know i saw about 15 FJ's (one guy rolled his) and about 3 new gen tacomas and a few older ones.

My truck before the trail. You can see my custom $7 grill. i think its cool, since it was only $7 and an hour of my time. I also painted the grill black to match my bumper.

me and my friends. the burban is stock with 31 a/t and the colly has quite a few things done to it, lift, 33's and custom home depot intake.

booty shot

mmm muddy water..

my friends for who ever wants to see them, its a trail thread no so much about my truck alone.

Random titan. it had a big lift on it, so i had to take a picture of it through the mud since its a rarity to find someone that actually offroads their big trucks like this.

Sickest FJ of the day. haha he was asking me about how deep the first water hole was. my response "hey, *point to my truck* noooo problem" haha

looks fun

we should get people in the area to all meet out there at once and run the trail together
Yeah, it was a blast. I would deffinately be down for a meet/cruise/trail run. For anyone in the area, even if you dont want to get your truck dirty, the cruise their has awesome scenery and is twisty and turny and just fun to drive.

Drewbie, I tried to PM but it wouldn't let me, maybe your inbox is full?
sounds good and can you please try and send another pm
i changed my settings

this weekend maybe meet up somewhere and get some other tacos from the area to join
I know i cant make it this weekend or next because i have to work, but if we can get a friday meet, that would be awesome.

PM still didnt go through.
cool stuff man....thanks for the pics

holy jim is way too short of a run
Whew, that FJ is bad ASS looking!

Hey, I like your wheels. What are those?
Why is there a seam in the middle of your grille?
I was also there this past weekend (saturday), only saw one other taco though. I'ts a good short run if you stay on the main trail but if you take all the side trails it's a good 2 hours of fun.:D
I go there all the time on the weekends when I have 2hrs to burn and need to put the 4wd in use, I live very close to that trial (Lake Forest).
We should get a quick SoCal (OC) run over here soon I haven't noticed any SoCal taco meets in a while or PM me if you just want to go on a quick run.

Because it made out of gutter guard, and it wasn't wide enough for one piece so i had to use two and zip tie them together.. but for $7, i think it looks good, just as long as you stand far enough away.

loconzly, the wheels are rockcrawler 51's (15x8) great for the price, only $52 a piece.

I think a SoCal meet is deffinately in order.. We havn't had one in a while. I just need about 2 weeks notice so i can get it off from work, if we go on a weekend. I also need some time to make an under guard for my engine bay so that everytime i go through a puddle, 50 gallons of water don't soak my engine.

.
yeah real far away : But as long as your happy and had fun doing it wth..

Wow, that was a kick in the nuts.. but still funny..
i like your grill-especially since you didn't pony up $200 like a sucker for a grillcraft.
(i can say that-i have one too)
your truck is badass dude and you do more with it then most guys with their pavement pounding 4x4's - you should be proud.

Just busting your balls for Quoting me in your Sig. I would have made it from a one piece. Look at home depot or lowes for galvanized floor mesh.
Aight, aight.. fair is fair.. and i've been looking still cant find something wide enough, but i'll look for that next time i go to home depot.
+1 on a meet in the near future
Where would it be held? at holy jims?
Good job wheeling the mini Tacoma. I hit some puddles this week with my 4x4, but the real fun comes this weekend.

We could meet there, a few of us ended up taking that run after the last Toyotanation meet in SoCal that I went to. We can try for a Sat or Sun in the next couple of weeks.
Noticed that we have similar trucks and almost the same lift I want to get into, maybe I could test drive and feel the DR CO's performance.
sounds good and yes i love these coils. still have to do somthing with the rear. I keep bottoming out so im thinking an add a leaf in the near future
