well i have decided that i dont know how to fix my hood problem on the driver side the hood does not shut all the way i have tryed to adjust it but with no luck. when im driving at hi speeds or over bumps the driver side of the hood shakes so it makes me think that the hood is going to pop open. here are some pics to help with the problem. ass you can see i can fit my hand in the gap fairly well.

wow.. did you hit something? was you car repaired before?
how long was it like this
Mine is the same way, I bought one from a junkyard that was bent in the middle. It will cause that misalignment if it is bent somewhere.

By adjusting do you mean turning the rubber knobs on either side?
looks to be bent to me...
no i have tried to adjust the ruber knobs no help i hit a deer a little while ago but it didnt do any damage to the hood. is there any way to fix this so it stops shaking while im driving.
what do the rubber knobs do anywho? I never messed with em'.
^they adjust the height of the hood...
hit it with a hammer

besides adjusting the latch height and the rubber stops, there really isnt any other adjustment for the alignment of the hood. It really looks like your hood got jacked up when you hit the deer, even if it was only slightly.
sounds like your rad support where the latch is mounted may have been bent during your accident

I know that mine was when I got into mine, and ever since then, my hood's never stayed down quite the same. that's why I installed hoodpins. doesn't look that clean, but it keeps my hood from vibrating while I drive.
yea i realy dont like hood pins
I have a gap, only because the weathstripping isn't there, which I think is attached to the stock hood. But mine's CF
Hood pins are better than having the damn thing fly in your face.
yea but then the only thing that i will be missing to be a ricer will be a big ass wing and a 3 inch exhaust tip

You make a solid point.
true, but if your hood hits your windshield and smashes it on the highway, youll look like a dumbass... and would you rather be a dumbass or a ricer?

What's the difference? (drum-shot)

/me gets booed off stage
^ lol

but in all seriousness.....do something about it before something bad happens

and I don't mind my hoodpins because...well...my car's been modded to the max.
if your car looks stock though, it will look ricer-ish....

but again....safety first
