Hello,

How can I find out if the fan is working, now it is winter and it does not reach to hot tempratuer ( Summer my fan rarely is required ). On my last radiator change, I realized lots of stuff were stuck in the fan and I cleaned them, I am not sure if the fan is O.K or not.

How I can check that,

Thanx

I would think the fan should come on even in the winter while the car is just sitting. Could be wrong though as I don't live in sub-zero temps. Probably a relay you could jumper across to test it if need be.

Since you said it doesn't reach operating temp., it could be your thermostat that's stuck open.

find your ECT (engine coolant temperature) snsr. unplug it. it should turn on since the vehicle does not know what temperature the engine is at, so it defaults to running the cooling fan. or just let the car run at idle for a while, sooner or later when the engine reaches a certain temperature, the fan should turn on.
