The trim pieces to the left and right of the windshield, I need to remove them in order to pull my dash off and these things seem to be on extremely tight and I am trying not to break em.

You might have to remove the sill cover so you can remove the kick panel before you can remove the A pillar cover. Unless you have the 4WD with the grab handles (2 screws per handle), you just pull them away from the A pillar. ;)

May I ask why you are removing the dash? There are a few things that you may be able to accomplish after you pull the dash. ;)

I have the 4x2 standard cab. I have removed the all the other trim and this is the only piece in my path. I'm taking the dash off simply to have more room to get at the a/c control cables. while I'm in there, however, it's nasty so I'm going to clean it and probably install a radio as this has been a pain in the rear. Might be a good time to check the speedo cable and dash lamps while I'm in there. Anything else anyone recommends?
