I had 185k before it decided to get totaled. That's on a '98.

Girlfriends '99 is probably 140k or so.

wow...mine is at 90,xxx...looks like I have a lot of happy miles to log ahead of me!

I know this isn't a camry forum, but my dad's '97 4-cyl LE just rolled 190k...original motor and transmission, and it still runs like a top!
150k and I still drive it like I stole it. No problems.
76000 on my '02 corolla S ;)
does this have the same engine as a corolla 98?. .i love the head light and front bumper.. i was gonna do a conversion to make it the same but i figure it would look like a rip off of the same thing
151,800 miles with the ever annoying valve tap.
They both have the 1ZZFE, but the 00-02 has vvti added for stricter emissions. They also went cheap with smaller pistons and oversized rings resulting in burning oil later on. The 98-99 is the non-vvti 1ZZFE with the correct sized pistons and rings. Many people to the 01-02 front conversion. Nothing unusual about that.
rolla tuner im falling in love with you! just wondering did u do any mods to your engine?
Mine has 98750...
I'll race you to 100k, lol I'm a bit over 98k myself.
I'm without words... Let's just leave it at that. LOL

I have the I/H/E combination. I had the ELP CAI, but I sold it being worried about the rain since my rainguards are gone. haha I'm currently looking for a good deal on a Apexi drop in panel filter. I'm running the Forza header with an added flex pipe. And my exhaust I explained in another thread is a full custom catback with Magnaflow resonator and muffler. I'm also running the Pulstar pulse plugs which add quite a bit to response, NGK wires, Hyper Voltage System, Hyper Ground System, and InaZma fuel atomizer. I'm also running full synthetic Royal Purple fluids through the car.
i just found the corolla 98 strut bar too, used but still in good condition on ebay.. got it for 140 shipped which isnt the greatest deal but it took me a while to find... i was thinking about gettting pulstar plugs too. how much is it?? im still running on stock plugs, and got a tune up on the engine abouts 6 months ago. how often do u get tune ups?
i just got past 20,000 on my 02 rolla :(! how depressing! i gotta change the number in my sig!
You must hardly drive at all.

The plugs are about 25 bucks a pop, so you're looking close to 100 bucks. I do my own tune ups accordingly so the time in between varies.

damn straight! only a mile to school each day (but i let the car warm almost all the way up before driving. and whatever i do on weekends which isnt that much since my car can only hold 2 without rubbing. the car also sat in a garage for a number of years, that explains the low mileage too.
oh, quick question. i change the oil about every 6 months (only synthetic) but i only put about ~1200 miles on in that time. is it ok to continue doing it like that or should i change it every 3 months?
