How much do 3sfe/5sfe flywheels weigh?

Okay, so I picked up a used flywheel for my Car. It was the 8 bolt model for the 3sfe. My mom had to go get it for me since myc ar is outta commission then bring it to me since I live in another city and it was located near her. She complained about it being heavy but I thought she was just messing around or something.

However, when I went to pick it up, I was a little surprised. I see why lightweight flywheels make such a big difference now. It felt like it was about 30 lbs. As soon as myc ar is back running and I gather up a little extra cash, I am gonna go ahead and purchase the fidanza unit. I never realized the difference in weight was iso HUGE.

No way its 30 lbs. Even a flywheel for a V8 doesn't weigh 30 lbs.

I'd say about 15 lbs. or so. I believe the Fidanza flywheel is about 7 or 8 lbs.
Clutchmasters also offers a lightened flywheel for 3SFE/5SFE....

It was definitely over 15 lbs. Had to be at least 20. And the Fidanza flywheel weighs 10 lbs according to their site. The clutchmasters unit weighs 8 1/2 lbs but costs about 100 more than the Fidanza unit. I have heard lot's of bad things about the FIdanza one destroying itself though.
Isn't Wraith using the Fidanza unit?

I think so....
Wraith has a 3sgte(well at least it was a 3sgte) Though. The flywheel is different.

Are you using, a lightweight crank pulley? I have already seen that monsterous clutch setup. You are the man Wraith!
No I'm using the stock 3s-gte pulley ... I wont use any aftermarket lighten crank pulley .. I just turst them with any motor...
Well it turns out that Spec makes a lightweight flywheel for the 8 bolt 3sfe/5sfe and the price is really good. I trust them more than Fidanza so as long as the weight is in the range I want, I think I am just gonna go with that one.
