i have a 95 2wd and want to lift it 4 inches. it already has a 3 inch body lift (already on it when i bought it). can i get the kit for about 500$? used ?$

Im not sure you can get regular bracket lifts like the 4x4's have. I think you have to match together kits to get your 4"+ of lift.

Hopfally some 2wd boys will chime in.

it all depends on what you want to use it for. with that much lift, what size tires do you want to run? if your going to pre-run or race with it and beat the hell out of it then you will want a kit like the one from total chaos. pricey but worth it if your going to use for what its built for.

on my truck i am running a 2'' 4crawler body lift, fabtech upper arms and downey torsion bars in the front. total i got about 4'' of lift from the suspension. i could crank in more but the ride quality would really suffer. on the rear i am running the downey HD shackles. got about 1.5'' of lift from the shackle and i just recently installed the prerunner add-a-leafs and they are great. didnt change the hight but made the ride 100x smoother.
for tires i am running 235/75-15 and have no rubbing at all. i could probably go to 31s and still have no problems.

thanks man, i just bought a 3.5 in lift kit for 518.98. it is made by fabtech and has an add a leaf and new spindles. it recommends putting sway away 1636 torsion bars with it . so it should be pretty sweet. will i have to get extended brake lines?

i am not going to be hitting it hard or anything but i think this kit is designed for it. I ride dirtbikes and i always have to go offroad to get to where i am riding so it is nice to have it lifted and i always feel so gay with a short little truck so thats why i am doing it..

any more suggestions would help

good luck on the fabtech spindles. they havent been made in 3 years and are extralmy hard to find. a lot of places still sell them even though they dont stock them anymore and cant get them. however, i found these on a different forum http://obsessedmotorsports.com/toyota_8495_pickup_2wd_spindle.html
