I need to disconnect the fuel line only one end to connect fuel pressure gauge. Does anyone know how to disconect this section of fuel line. I need to disconnect this side , not any other side so that I can connect my special fuel adapter gause.

I know how to disconnect the side close to the the pulse damper. But I don't need that side.

That is not the end they usually want you to disconnect. Every kit that has the square fuel pressure connector will have 20 different round style connectors as well. In fact it is rare for all but the largest kits to have the square fuel connector included.

Further up is where they want you to break it at with a Lisle 39210 tool.

I am pretty sure the part your looking at does not require a special tool. Looking at it it looks like the one end has a clip that comes off. Once that clip is off it looks like the rest of it lifts up and out of the square part. I have not had this part apart though. It looks like it just pull up and out to get apart. I will try to take a look at mine tomorrow and report back.

Normally you do not unhook that unless you are replacing the line that goes from there back to the fuel tank I think.

Normaly you take the fuel line apart where it hooks to the fuel damper with Lisle 39210 tool.

No, this is not the one that requires special tool actually. I have the tool for the side that requires special tool.

This one in the picture is close to airbox. vent valve. Does not require this tool. That is why I was asking if anybody did disconnect this side ( Picture)

You are right , this side does not require this special tool. I was trying to figure our how to get the clip off without breaking it. But I have this tool.

Yes that was the point I was trying to make. I have my air box, duct work, coils, fuel rail and intake manifold off and saw that connector the other day. I did not unhook it though so I have no clue if it needs a tool to disconnect. I did get to work on my car today. In fact.

Just push it down the dust cover or clip will come off. Than you push to pins on the connector, it will be disconnected. You do not need any special tool to disconnect this shown fuel line.
