I have already tried a search on this and yes, I also have a Haynes manual. My main question is that in the Haynes manual it states to turn the spiral cable counterclockwise by hand until it becomes harder to turn the cable, then to rotate the cable clockwise about three turns and align the two red pointers. What is all of that for? What does it accomplish by doing this? Because I already have the steering wheel and hub, I'm just wondering if I need to do all of that or just pop off push on and go? Also is it ok to just unplug the airbag or is there a fuse that runs just the air bags? Because I'm planning on taking out both airbags. Any help?
