It must be fun getting in that toolbox.

I bet it's easier once they topple over going around a corner.

The yota belongs to the suspension guy there... He says it's going on full width axles with 44's and a SBC when he gets time...

I have to wonder if the tires on the Chevy are just temporary or something... It almost needs 49's or 54's with that much lift.

subliminaltrips thinks it may belong to the old man that owns the shop.

I guess there are reasons for tires that big and a huge body lift,

But maybe I don't want to know what they are.

I don't know why people bother putting SBC's into something like that. A mildly built 454 would run circles around it and get better mileage.

I'm not so sure a 454 would fit in that little yota...

ovrrdrive, that truck was actually in the shop when i ws over there talkin to sean the other day. its not the owners ride its some rich kid. that suspension kit they used had to be the most rinky dink suspension kit ive ever seen. its nowhere near the quality of that huge super duty and that thing is just a stupid looking tacky bunch of bolt ons. i was talkin to kurt and he was saying that that lift kit on the chevy you had the pic of was the most difficult kit to install and none of the brackets or bolt holes lined up properly. if you get a chance to look at it up close look at the front crossmember drop bracket thingie. its so freekin cheezy , you will laugh. kurt said he told the dude it was cheezy but he insisted. i cant remember the mfg of that kit but i wouldnt put it on my worst enemy's truck without feeling a little guilty. kurt made the dude sign a waiver because he didnt want to be liable for anything including the installation..:disappoin

They left the IFS in that truck?

That's just amazing...

I just assumed it was a 2500 as that's the only trucks I see lifted that big...

Well, I know the Ford F250+ and Dodge 2500+ are straight, I assumed the Chevy's followed suit...

It's hard to believe someone would drop that kind of change into an IFS setup...

It would have been better and probably cheaper to SAS it.
