My autistic son scratched the navigation/entertainment screen on our 2018 Land Cruiser with an umbrella when he was getting in the passenger seat. Toyota wants $3200 + installation to replace it. That's for the entire unit. In reality, only the screen needs to be replaced or repaired. I'd like to get the unit out so that I can remove the screen to see if there's a part number on it so that I can buy a replacement from another source or send it off for repair. I've looked online for instructions and/or diagrams, but have not found anything. Does anyone know the procedure for removing the unit? I don't want to remove more parts than necessary and certainly don't want to damage anything by prying where I shouldn't. Thanks in advance.
