I don't remember any bolts down there, but I could be wrong. It's attached to the stock airbox, obviously, so it'll take at least a fair bit of wiggling.

just took it out today, this is the resonator right? haha, have to double check. so what adv/disadv are there to taking this thing out, ive noticed that the intake sounds deeper and i guess slightly louder...it aint gonna suck in water now is it?

You'd still have to remove the wheel. The hole that connects the airbox and the resonator isn't big enough to fit the entire resonator through it.

sez you! i got it out without taking the wheel off :p:

i just turned the wheel left a lil bit, and unscrewed part of the bottom splash guard, and i had enough room to pull it free (w/a lil squeezing through and rotating the box).

now i have another hole to suck in somewhat colder air. no noise difference really, prolly cuz my exhaust drowns out any difference anyway.

the hole is a bit lower than your headlight. id say if you were that deep in water already, youve got other major problems. the only puddle that could be that deep would be a pond or something. if youre dumb enough to drive into one of those then id suggest you leave the resonator on and never drive again :D
