I've read all the different way to debadge with floss, fishing line, WD-40, goo-gone, etc.

But, what's the best way to remove the rather large TRD decal on the rear of the bed?

Heat it up with a heat gun or hair blow dryer, then just pick at the edge with your fingernail. Then just get it going and peel it off. Sticky stuff will probably be left behind. Use some Goo Gone to loosen it up. Let it work. Get a rag and wipe off the goo. Don't rub too hard. Keep doing it until all the sticky stuff is gone. Then to get it all shiny, polish the area and wax it.

DON'T use Goof Off. Goof Off and Goo Gone are not the same thing. Goof Off is too strong.
^^+1, but be careful if you use a heat gun. I saw a post awhile back where a guy had accidentally melted his tail light with a heat gun :ugh3:

When I removed my pin striping and dealer decals I just waited for a 90+ degree day in July and let my car sit out in the sun for awhile.
A hair dryer usually doesn't get hot enough to damage anything. A heat gun can get a lot hotter though. Just use the Low heat setting.
Thanks again. I notice that you are very aware of the posts here.

You do your job of admin very well and are the most knowledgeable Tocoma person I've ever met. If I had a company, I'd hire you.

Thanks. I wish you had a company so that you could hire me. I'm not cheap though.

I applied for a job at Toyota, but they never replied. I know that I'd be able to make some good improvements on their vehicles, but I guess I don't have enough college edumacation. :dunce:

When I was younger, (40's now), I thought that you needed a degree in this or that to get anywhere.

So, I have 2 AA's, a Bachelors, a Graduate Certificat in Employer/Employee Relations, and a Masters, along with the 2 day comprehensive written exam and several hundred page thesis.

Now, I realize in life that many successful people never do with any degree and just did what they liked or wanted to do and got farther than I did.

I lost 8 years of life to colleges and universities. If I had it to do over again, I'd never go to school.

I'd just find my passion in life and do it. Now I'm stuck in a job. Another person who works to life and not really a person who does his life's passion for work.

Then again, I could never find anyone willing to pay me to eat and sleep. My other two passons.
