1. Installed a stereo system, and subs.
2. I installed an Injen short ram intake.
3. I installed a nice stainless steel muffler.
4. I installed some new gauge faces.
5. I even put up a website
But what now? im on a pretty low budget, and when i get money.. I spend it lol
What else should I do, any cheap DIY's or something. I have alot of free time, cuz im off from 3:00pm til 7:00am i have all this time to do what ever the hell i want. So someone tell me what i should do next...

Well, your mods are kind of contradicting. You have performance mods, but then you put a system in. Are you going for performance, or show? Cause it will take a lot longer if you build up both at the same time.

Well, make sure to yank your subs before draging it.

If you need some stereo hook-ups, I goty you covered. I know some good wholesalers. And even cheaper stuff if you don't mind generic. PM me if you want. I'll set you up:)

I wouldn't get a short-ram. They are well known to cause loss in low-end torque, and suck in mainly hot air. Just get a K&N Drop-in filter.

Muffler, I have one on hand if you want. Not used at all.

And a website... Rock on man! Everyone needs a website. Gotta rock the ride.

Save up for real mods

instead of a "muffler" get a catback

change exterior lights, the list is so long becuz you havent exactly done much i dunt even know where to start
Your joking right? A muffler is all a cat-back is. They just manage to dup you into buying the piping too. Get a high-flow cat and you have the same thing. For $200 less.

And how is changing the lights any better than getting a muffler? That's not even a mod. That's cosmetic.

Let him do what he want's to make his car better. He has a good start. You don't jump straight to turbocharging.

*And just a word of advice noob. We're supportive on this forum. So if you don't have something that adds (As in helps to support what is going on. Not tearing peoples ideas down without cause.) to the thread, please don't post.

I'm sorry you misunderstood what I said.

"Save up for real mods"

Cosmetic is something immediate

and no, muffler is not the same as a catback. Better piping = straighter = better flow = better low-end etc etc etc

I'm not about ripping ppl either. but looking on his post seems as if he doesnt know where to start~

BTW short ram or for that matter ANY intake you get from a car that has its intake in the bay is bound to suck in "hot air" however that air is relative to the engine temp.

THANK YOU!!!!!!

HA! Another person that agrees with me! (CAI are pointless too)
I don't mind intakes if your going for sound. They do give it a deeper tone. But if you think you are going to get huge gains from it, that makes me laugh.

However, cat-backs, for what your getting, are a huge waste of money. Unless your running some major power, a stock exhaust will work fine. And you don't gain mush either way. Might as well hack off the muffler and leave it a straight pipe. Then it won't sound like a weedwacker.

Well yes you can argue along those lines for any performance mods on the Camry, I mean cmon its a CAMRY

FWIW I would stick with tasteful cosmetic

but some feel that those extra 5 horses makes them the bigger man

However dont misunderstood there is a gain is the intake is extended to some part of the car which has direct contact with the outside air
