This is my first time posting on the Taco side of these forums, so i will try and make as much sense as possible.

I love Tacoma's, but mostly i love a certain style: Off Road Racing.

What would it take, as far as modification, parts, $, etc, to turn a taco into one of these. Now, i want more of the look with the suspension and all, wheels, body etc, but i want a mostly stock interior and keep it street legal so i can cruise. Any ideas, thoughts, words of wisdom? Thanks guys.

Here is an idea.

id like to hear this too mike.
well, i gave him the answers in PMs, but for those who are in the desert areas, i would strongly suggest going long travel in the front end...

there are essentially 3 solid companies out there with kits for our generation trucks...

Total Chaos, Camburg, and the newly released Engage Offroad kit...

Camburg has long been a top pick because of their boxed lower arms, and based on Engage Offroad's race truck, 1482, which is a tacoma, Engage has gone into production with its kit which is also boxed...

i can tell you first hand that this kit can stand up to some serious abuse...

i took my truck out to Barstow last weekend and beat the crap out of it on some of the harshest terrain in the Mojave, and it took it all flawlessly...

the best part though, is the price of the kit...

imagine a fully built front end complete with King coilovers custom valved to the kit, all for $3,200...

any so-cal'ers who would like to see the kit up close, look for us at the April 4 MDR race in Barstow...

i am also leaving for Vegas tomorrow morning, so if any Vegas members want to meet up, hit me up...
