I was talking about the 12V battery in the engine bay used to start the car.
Where do you store you keyfob when the vehicle is parked? You need to store it a sufficent distance away from the vehicle, and you may need to use a Faraday bag:
I can't say for your car or for Toyota specifically, but on some cars if the keyfob is too close to the car when parked, it is still communicating with the car and that is what runs down the keyfob battery. Note in the description of the Faraday bag I posted a link to, they specifically mention it can be used for keyfobs so that it blocks the signal to the car when not being used.
I can't tell you if this is your problem, or how far away the keyfob has to be when the car is parked. You should probably test the keyfob battery (or replace it again) to see if the keyfob battery is the problem.
