I need to put the key fob on the start button to start??

Hello all,
I have toyota land cruiser 2010 and when i push the engine start/stop button it is not start i have to put my key fob on this button for a while then it will start
I also replaced the key battery still same and its for two days start showing the key light on the dashboard

any advice ?!!

I can't say for your car or for Toyota specifically, but on some cars if the keyfob is too close to the car when parked, it is still communicating with the car and that is what runs down the keyfob battery. Note in the description of the Faraday bag I posted a link to, they specifically mention it can be used for keyfobs so that it blocks the signal to the car when not being used.

I can't tell you if this is your problem, or how far away the keyfob has to be when the car is parked. You should probably test the keyfob battery (or replace it again) to see if the keyfob battery is the problem.
