▲Or a divorced t-case. The welder at work has a brother who swapped in a VW (yeah, I know) turbo diesel into his suzuki, and is happy with the results. If you can do a SFA swap, you can do that.

There are tons for sale in USA,see below:

http://www.toyotadiesel.com/phpBB2

The links below have everything you ever wanted to know about Toyota diesel & biodiesel pickups:

The way the price of gasoline (petrol for Australians) is going I suggest that everyone convert their Toyotas to diesel as they are more:

fuel efficient
higher torque
waterproof
simpler
reliable
safer
can idle all day long
less overheat episodes
can burn bio diesel or vegetable oil (without glycerin)

Well to help everyone dismiss the myth that Toyota diesel pickups & SUV's are rare in USA & Canada I have included below a list of very resourcefull links that contain places to buy diesel engines/parts and complete rigs.

i have already looked at all of them and didnt find anything. i registered on ToyotaDiesel.com and that was about all i got. and all of the So-Cal salesmans are really far away from me. i have driven back from So-Cal up to Spokane before and it sucked. it was even in a nice car. so i really wouldnt want to spend the money to get one from there.

normally you will not see a diesel anywhere in the US. they exist but are very rare. it would be more likely to find a diesel in Canada. i really am open to either one though. i am actually starting to consider a 2nd generation diesel. i love the 1st gen body style but i also like the 2nd gen as well. but would still rather have a 1st gen!

That pic slybond posted looks like one of the crazy rigs from Iceland. Big blocks chevs, dana 60's, GPS, + tons of mods for running fast on the snow. They would cost huge bucks to build here. The flares on that thing are awesome.

▲ Cam, have you ever looked on usedvancouver.com or any other sites up here for a truck?
I don't know how much of a pain it would be to get one across the border, but it's worth a shot to check it out.
