the clear coat on the center caps on my rims is peeling and looking like crap. i want to remove the remaining clear coat so i can re-clear coat it. will paint thinner work, or is it too harsh?

i also repainted 2 of the caps black. that was a mistake. but yea, i put 2 coats of black and 2 coats of clear coat.

if i cant use paint thinner, what do u guys suggest?

thx

easiest way would be to bead blast them. Get access to a compressor, get the bead blasting handle and some blasting media.
