Strange thing, my ignition cut out on me twice yesterday. I never had a problem with my car before, but for some reason the motor just shut off doing 45-50 down the road. I noticed that there is water in my taillight and the bulb is flickering.. is it possible that this can cause a short in the whole system causing the ignition to quit? It happened both times during a left hand turn.. no idea why that would make a difference though.
I'm going to drill a small drain hole tonight and change the bulb but this sounds a little strange to me.
Any suggestions?

For the archives, the body shop guy pressure washed the motor and water must of been blown into a critical ignition component. After sitting in the sun for a day or so.. the problem went away

so be careful with those pressure washers!
