Did my search but there isnt much on toolboxes. Does anybody know of a good in bed tool box? Iv seen a DeeZee in bed on here but just one. Dont wanna spend to much on it but would like it to last. It will just be for throwing tow straps and what not in so I can get all that crap out from behind the seats :headbang:

^I'd agree with Oakley. Search "UWS Tool box" or similar. I think the part # is TBS-63-A-LP for the low profile box, you can also try racknroad.com. I was quoted $399 for the black low profile box from Rack n Road, it's on the "to-buy" list. You could probably find a cheaper Kobalt box or something similar at Lowe's or Home Depot, but the UWS box looks to be best quality and best looking.

OP has a DC. that means the wheel wells go right up to the back of the bed. I ust ordered the UWS lo-profile ANGLED in black.

You can get the non Low-profile one angled as well.

The shop I ordered it through told me a couple weeks and itll run about $400.

Koblalts sit too low(would hit the wheel wells) unless they have an angled version.

UWS is by far the best priced out there for the quality. Finding someting to fit the DC taco can be a challenge.

I forgot to add, best prices I found were at truck customizers .com

Running $250 + about $60 shipping.

Problem is they don't have the one I want(model nuckingfuts listed above) in black.

Be aware, you CANNOT powder coat it as the lid has a foam insert for strength and the heating process will disintigrate the foam.

but if you wanna paint it yourself you can save a little cash.
